The Zwingli United Church of Christ in Souderton is back in its own building. The old one burned down in June of 2008, and services were held Sunday, August 14, for the first time in the new building on Wile Avenue. The congregation has held most of its services since the fire at the Indian Valley Boys and Girls Club on Washington Avenue, and that’s where Sunday’s services started. Parishioners walked from there to the new building. While construction is finished, Zwingli Church Council Moderator Rick Rogers says fundraising is continuing. A formal dedication service is planned for the fall.
