Lansdale officials are moving ahead with the formation of the 311 West Main Street Task Force. That's the eleven member group responsible for providing borough council with input on the future use of the old Performing Arts Center. Council President Matt West Wednesday night announced that four North Penn School District residents and three members of the arts community have been selected to sit on the panel but their names will not be released until they have been contacted and borough officials are sure they are still on board. The seven were chosen from a field of 19 candidates. Borough officials hope to make their idenities known before the next council businesss meeting on October 19th. The remaining four members of the task force will be Council Members Mike Riccio, Mary Fuller and Mike Sobel as well as Borough Manager Timi Kirchner.
