U.S. Postal Service officials have fielded questions from Upper Salford Township residents about plans to close two small post offices in rural areas. They are the Woxall and Salford branches. While no final decision has been made, they are on a list of more than 3,600 branches targeted for closing because they are not generating enough revenue. The Postal Service says plenty of boxes are available at the Harleysville Post Office to accommodate box holders at the Woxall and Salford branches, and boxes are also available at the Salfordville Post Office.
