Montgomery Township officials have approved a preliminary budget for next year that does not raise property taxes. The 16-million dollar spending plan also continues the Homestead Exclusion that allows residential property owners to shield $30,000 of the assessed value of their home from taxation. This is the seventh year in a row that officials in Montgomeryville have rolled out a budget without raising property taxes. The township supervisors will take final action on the spending plan December 12th.
