Lansdale Borough Council has chosen a consultant to help determine the future of the old Performing Arts Center on West Main Street. A-M-S Planning and Research will be paid almost $49,000 to come up with a direction for the borough owned building. Its report should be ready in about six months. Borough Council has also approved the purchase of as much as $60,000 in additional consulting services from Spiezle Architects Group for the former Performing Arts Center. It determined last summer that the structure has almost 40 building code violations.
