Half a dozen members of the community pool in Towamencin Wednesday night attended the meeting of the township supervisors to raise concerns about everyday maintenance at the aquatic facility on Weikel Road. They told officials trash isn't picked up and the pools and rest rooms suffer from an irregular cleaning schedule. Township Manager Rob Ford said the North Penn YMCA is under contract to manage the pool for the township and the community service organization is eager to iron out problems at the pool. This is the second summer the Y has managed the pool for the township. The contract is worth $132,000.
