New Britain Township Business Alliance President Leslie Bilotta says the organization has grown rapidly in the five years since she and four other local business owners founded it.
She says she recruits members by calling on new businesses she sees or hears about, whether they’re open or not.
“I bang on the door and say, ‘Hello! I’m Leslie,’ and I say ‘We’re the New Britain Township Business Alliance. Come support us, we’ll support you, we have a Facebook page, we have a website, so there’s no reason for anyone not to know who you are.’”
Bilotta says about 95 percent of their members are thrilled to be part of the New Britain Township Business Alliance, and it works very closely with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and the Doylestown Business and Community Alliance and will continue to do so. She appeared recently on the WNPV talk program Buxmont Live, which is broadcast Mondays from 11:10am until noon.
