Police Search For Burglar

wnpv_police_beatMontgomery Township Police are looking for a burglar who frightened a couple early Sunday morning when they woke up and found him in their second-floor master bedroom, snooping around with a flashlight looking for things to steal. When they confronted the man he ran from their Bailey Drive home and drove away toward Stump Road.  Investigators found that he pried open a downstairs window to gain entry, and then went through closets, cabinets and drawers, escaping with only a ring and a small amount of cash.  Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around 4:00 Sunday morning should call Montgomery Township Police, who remind residents to discourage burglars by locking their doors and windows and leaving outside lights turned on.
