A Former North Penn High School teacher has admitted having sex with one boy who was in her eleventh grade homeroom and having inappropriate contact with another. 37-year-old Heather Lynne Zeo pleaded guilty to corrupting minors Monday in Montgomery County Court, shortly before jury selection was set to start. Both boys were 17 years old when the incidents occurred about a year ago. Court documents say one boy told detectives he kissed and petted with her six or seven times in her classroom when no one else was around, and they had sex one time in the back seat of her minivan in a Montgomery Township shopping center parking lot. Zeo was suspended at the time of her arrest, and the guilty plea means she loses her teaching certificate and is permanently barred from teaching in Pennsylvania. She is also barred from having contact with the victims or being on any North Penn school property. The judge has delayed sentencing until the adult probation department completes a background report. Prosecutors are seeking jail time, but state sentencing guidelines allow probation. Zeo lives in Warrington with her husband and three children.
