A former substitute teaching aide at a Collegeville elementary school, awaiting sentencing for inappropriately touching three nine-year-old boys repeatedly, now faces additional charges. Two eleven-year-old boys have come forward and told police 46-year-old Vito Granieri of Chelsea Way in Skippack touched their private parts in the fall of 2007 and 2008, when they were in the computer lab with him at Saint Eleanor Parish School. He is charged with additional counts of indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and other offenses. The boys said he would touch them in their private areas as he gave them candy. Granieri worked as a computer lab assistant. He has been held without bail at Montgomery County Prison since April when he entered an Alford Plea, which is treated as a guilty plea for sentencing purposes.
