A former loss prevention manager at the King of Prussia Nordstrom store is going to jail for stealing from her employer. 28-year-old Rozita Davani of Wyncote pleaded guilty to retail theft and receiving stolen property, and she will spend six to 23 months in Montgomery County Prison. Three Philadelphia women and two Maryland women were also part of the scheme, which involved stealing high-end clothing and other fashion merchandise from the mail room at the King of Prussia store and exchanging it there and at other Nordstrom stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. In some cases they kept the clothing. Upper Merion detectives conducting surveillance in the King of Prussia store parking lot caught the women in the act of loading cars with stolen goods. Defense lawyer Steve Fairlie suggested that Davani’s taste for high-fashion clothing got out of hand.
