A Philadelphia federal court jury has found a Bucks County man guilty of possessing child pornography. The jury convicted 34-year-old David Ivins of Lower Southampton after only about two hours of deliberations. During the trial jurors viewed parts of some pictures showing girls as young as four years old engaged in sex acts with other girls and adult men. His lawyer argued that his roommate had downloaded the pictures while high on methamphetamine, but the prosecution argued that forensic evidence proved Ivins did it himself. He is out on bail until his sentencing in October, but with a number of conditions. He cannot be around any children, including his own daughter, without adult supervision by someone other than his girlfriend, he cannot access the internet, and he must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet so the courts know where he is at all times.
