Charity Jar Stolen

wnpv_police_beatFor the second time in three months, a charity donation jar has been stolen from a counter at the same Bucks County convenience store. It happened early Sunday at the 7-11 on Street Road in Warminster.  Store surveillance video showed a man who appeared to be in his 20’s taking the jar.  The donations were for the Wheeled Scotsman Foundation, which helps the physically disabled, and also the Christine McGhee Fund.  She was a Warminster resident who suffered severe brain injuries after her then-boyfriend dragged her behind his truck in a Kutztown University parking lot in December of 2008.  Two women were arrested last month after they stole donation jars from the same 7-11 in May.
