Montco Man Held In CA For Stalking Jennifer Anniston

JAA Montgomery County man is accused of driving across the country and stalking actress Jennifer Aniston (pictured here). Police detained 24-year-old Jason Peyton of West Norriton last week in Santa Monica, California after they found him prowling around carrying a sharp object, duct tape and other items, including love notes to the TV and movie star.  His car also had large messages reading, “I Love Jennifer Anniston.”  He has been placed in an involuntary psychiatric commitment and ordered to stay away from Anniston’s home, work and vehicles.  Court documents say he is an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker with a history of criminal stalking and violence, and he was disobeying a court order to take anti-psychotic medications.  The order stems from a trial two years ago in Montgomery County, where he was found not guilty by reason of insanity on charges that he stalked and harassed a local woman.
