A Lansdale man has been given 26 to 55 years in state prison for sex-related criminal charges resulting from three incidents. In the most serious case, 36-year-old Ronald McDade was charged with raping a 13-year-old girl in January of 2008 at the green street home where he lived with his then-girlfriend. The rape happened while he was out on bail awaiting trial for an incident in September of 2007, where he allegedly tried to lure a 15-year-old girl into his car at the Allen-Forge Shopping Center in Towamencin Township, and another incident the same day where a woman walking past McDade’s car with her two young daughters saw him exposing himself in the parking lot of the Montgomery Township Target Store. He pleaded no contest to rape and related offenses. He has also been declared a sexually violent predator under Megan’s Law, which means he must report his whereabouts to police when and if he is released from prison.
