A Philadelphia man will spend at least 16 years in prison after admitting his part in a Montgomery Township home invasion in January of 2009. 34 year-old Julius Wise was sentenced yesterday in Montgomery County Court after pleading guilty to third degree murder in the beating death of Korean businessman Robert Chae. Wise, who has a colorful criminal history was not physically at the home during the invasion but admitted that his part in the planning and conspiracy to rob Chae’s home, ended in Chae being beaten to death. Wise also admitted to holding money and jewelry stolen from the home following the robbery.
