Six people are accused of selling steroids in Montgomery County and elsewhere. They include 34-year-old Frank Peters and his 50-year-old girlfriend, Angela Girondo, Both of Ambler. A state grand jury indictment says peters and another man, 35-year-old Brian Chamberlain of West Chester, ordered the drugs over the internet from suppliers in China, Hungary and Pakistan. They were re-sold in Montgomery, Chester, Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett says Peters and Chamberlain paid the overseas suppliers by wire transfers. The charges are the result of an ongoing steroid trafficking investigation known as Operation Roid Runner.
