A Hatfield Township woman accused of calling 911 with a phony report about shooting a man has been identified as 56-year-old Brenda Sellers. Police from six departments and the North Penn Tactical Response Team rushed to her home shortly after 5:00pm Wednesday, when she allegedly called 911 and said she had just shot a man in the face and chest and killed him. When police arrived at the home, on Oak Park Road near the Lansdale Presbyterian Church, they found her in her driveway. Hatfield Township Police Chief Mark Toomey says there were no weapons and no injuries, and she fabricated the entire incident. She is charged with public drunkenness, making false reports to police and other offenses. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge David Keightly, who set her bail at $100,000 cash.
