Towamencin Issues Citizen Commendations

american-flagThe Towamencin Township Supervisors have commended four Good Samaritans who helped an elderly woman after she was involved in a serious car crash and fire last July on Gehman Road. Joshua Cook and Brandon Mercer of Hatfield, Paula Richards of Perkasie and Shayne Watson of Towamencin received commendations at this week’s meeting.  The supervisors also commended Andrew Konsavage of Towamencin, who works for the company that manages the Forge Gate Apartments on Snyder Road.  Police Chief Tim Dickinson says he gave them information that helped them locate two fugitives from New York City who were arrested at the complex last June, and also helped officers enter the building without detection.  Retired police officer Walter Hulik was also honored for his 30 years of service.
