A Lansdale man has admitted keeping money he collected from DUI offenders for installing ignition interlocks on their cars. 35-year-old William Ocasio of West Mount Vernon Street pleaded guilty to felony theft for keeping more than $9,000 he should have given to Ground Level Customs, The Lansdale car repair business where he worked. He was sentenced to the 47 days already served in Montgomery County Prison and ordered to pay the owner of Ground Level Customs more than $9,000 in restitution. He must also complete 100 hours of community service. Court documents say Ocasio produced ATM receipts showing that he deposited cash in a bank account, but the envelopes recovered from the machine were often short or empty.
