Pot For Sex

marijuana_leafA former Souderton man has admitted giving a teenage boy marijuana in return for sex. 21-year-old Diondre “Drey” Watts pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution and corruption of a minor in connection with several incidents between August of 2008 and July of 2009.  The boy, who was 15 and 16 years old at the time, told police he had sex with watts in return for marijuana about eight times.  Police started investigating watts in April of this year after the boy told a school counselor he had sexual contact with a man he knew as “Drey,” who lived in an apartment on Chestnut Street in Souderton.  A Montgomery County judge has delayed sentencing while the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Assessment Board determines whether he meets the criteria to be declared a sexually violent predator under Megan’s Law.
