Meth Lab Busted In Blue Bell

nolanA Blue Bell man is accused of making methamphetamine in the basement of the family home. 45-year-old Francis Nolan III (pictured here) is charged with manufacturing illegal narcotics and other offenses.  Whitpain Township Police say they went to the home on Belfry Drive late Saturday morning after receiving a call about a domestic dispute.  When they arrived, owner Dian Nolan told police she noticed a chemical smell coming from the basement.  When her daughter checked it out she saw enough to believe it was a meth lab, and she told her brother to get it out of the house.  Police got a search warrant, returned later with a state police team trained to dismantle drug labs, and seized methamphetamine and chemicals and equipment used to make it.
