A Bucks County man and his wife are accused of stealing more than $60,000 from his mother. 50-year-old Ty Myers and his 55-year-old wife Florence, both of East Rockhill, are charged with theft, conspiracy and related offenses. Court documents say they moved the money from her bank account to theirs, in amounts ranging from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand, and used it to buy exercise equipment, a car and a heating system for their home, among other things. The scheme allegedly started more than two years ago, when they gained power of attorney over the financial affairs of 70-year-old Constance Myers. Police started investigating after his brother and sister gained power of attorney and discovered the thefts early this year.
