Three teenagers face criminal charges for hate-related vandalism on Nectar Run in the Pear Tree Village development in Franconia. The charges include ethnic intimidation, criminal mischief, trespassing, prowling at night and related offenses. A 17-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl are being processed in Montgomery County Juvenile Court. Their names have not been released because of their age, and an 18-year-old male is still under investigation in the same incident. Franconia Township Police say a resident came home early Saturday morning, February 5, and found swastikas, the word “Jew” and an ethnic slur painted on the home and two cars parked in the driveway. The family living in the home is of Jewish descent.
