Five people are accused of participating in an illegal drug ring operating in the Norristown Area. The Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team and local police started an investigation last September targeting 20-year-old Stephen Rowl. Earlier this month they obtained warrants to search his home on Haws Avenue in Norristown and another home he shared with 20-year-old Jazmine McQuillar on Iris Drive in West Norriton. They also searched a home on George Street in Norristown which was allegedly used to cook cocaine powder and turn it into crack, and arrested the house resident manager, 52-year-old Bruce Kennedy. They also searched an alleged stash house on Stanbridge Street in Norristown and arrested 19-year-old Ethan Boone, who watched over it. The fifth suspect is 21-year-old Quentin Watson of Faith Drive in Eagleville, the alleged co-leader of the drug ring. Police seized crack cocaine, guns and money. The suspects are charged with conspiracy and drug and gun-related offenses.
