A Towamencin Township woman is getting five years probation for stalking people by e-mail. She must also do 100 hours of community service. 40-year-old Kelli Thomasen of Stockton Court pleaded guilty to multiple misdemeanor stalking charges. Court documents say she sent out e-mails in someone else’s name, falsely accusing three men of engaging in homosexual acts at the Plymouth Community Ambulance station on Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting. She volunteered for the ambulance company briefly in late 2008 and early 2009, and she sent out dozens of e-mails to different people, including the wife of a paramedic she falsely accused of engaging in sex acts with a man. Investigators say she tried to hide her identity by sending the messages from Montgomery County Community College or the Lansdale Public Library, but they tracked her down by getting a court order directing Yahoo to give them her internet address.
