A Former North Penn school administrator has admitted giving two 13-year-old boys money and gifts to discuss their sexual activity. 37-year-old Charles Hurst of Somerset Court in Montgomery Township pleaded guilty to corrupting minors Wednesday in Montgomery County Court. He was Vice Principal at Pennbrook Middle School in Upper Gwynedd at the time of the alleged incidents, between January of 2009 and August of 2010. Assistant District Attorney Samantha Cauffman says he used his position of authority to manipulate the boys into thinking it was OK to talk with him and exchange text messages about sexual matters. Defense lawyer Gregory Nester says his client showed strength and compassion by pleading guilty and sparing the boys and their families the burden and effort of a public trial. There is no evidence of improper physical contact with the victims in either case.
