A man was struck and killed Wednesday while trying to cross a busy Bucks County road. Police say 46-year-old Francisco Guerra of Red Barn Lane in Richland Township was hit after getting off a bus with a few co-workers shortly before 6:00am on Route 313 in Plumstead Township, and they were walking to their jobs at the nearby Bromm’s Lullaby Farm, a local home and garden shop. The driver, 48-year-old Michael Sheridan of Ferry Road in New Britain Township, told police he saw Guerra walking along the side, but did not see him step into the roadway. No charges have been filed, and the investigation is continuing. The victim’s wife and children live in Guatemala, but he has other relatives living in the area.
