Upper Moreland Township Police have arrested the same woman three times in three weeks for incidents involving drunken driving. 22-year-old Melissa Logston of Warminster is charged with two counts of DUI and one count of allowing an intoxicated person to drive her car. The first incident occurred March 24, when police stopped her Nissan Altima at Center and Summit Streets for driving in the rain and not using her windshield wipers. They say she was drunk. Six days later they stopped the same car at Fitzwatertown and Moreland roads after it nearly crashed. They say she was drunk, but sitting in the passenger seat, but unfortunately the friend who was driving was also drunk. Then on Monday, April 11, they stopped the car near County Line and Warminster Roads for driving with only one headlight. Police say she was drunk again and back behind the wheel. Her license had been suspended before the first incident.
