A Towamencin Township man is accused of killing his baby son. 21-year-old Jameel East of Lantern Lane is charged with third degree murder in the death of three-month-old Enzo East. A forensic pathologist conducted an autopsy on Monday and found that he died of blunt trauma to the head. When detectives first interviewed East on Tuesday he said he did not injure the boy while babysitting him on Friday, June 24. He later changed his story and said the baby vomited on him, so he went into the bathroom to bathe the boy, but he became overwhelmed and struck his son’s head on a hard surface between two sinks. The baby died on Saturday at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
