A Bucks County man was killed early Thursday in a head-on collision in Northeast Philadelphia. 22-year-old Daniel Fouracre of Bensalem died when a 14-year-old boy who had taken his mother’s car for a joyride without her knowledge sped off of I-95 at Academy Road shortly after 2:00am. The boy, driving a Chrysler Sebring, allegedly ran a red light with his headlights off and struck a Volkswagen Jetta driven by Fouracre’s 20-year-old girlfriend, Jessica Feldman of Huntingdon Valley. The car was a gift she received two years ago when she graduated from Lower Moreland High School. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries along with the teen driver and three passengers, aged 15 and 16. Teen driver Winston Charleston of Northeast Philadelphia is being charged as an adult with vehicular homicide.
