The Delaware County Medical Examiner is doing tests to see if a man killed by a police swat team on July Fourth in the Delaware River town of Trainer had any brain abnormalities that might account for a violent rampage that left three people dead in Montgomery County. 51-year-old Mark Geisenheyner (pictured here) shot and killed two adults and a two-year-old boy at a home near Gilbertsville on July 2. Michael Madden, who taught Geisenheyner during the 1970’s at an alternative school in Delaware County’s Nether-Providence School District, says they spoke about a week prior to the shootings and he said he thought he was about to die of a brain tumor. The men had remained friends. He says the tests are not about excusing him, but maybe explaining him.
