Two Montco Jewelry Store Robberies Could Be Connected

Upper Merion Township Police are investigating Wednesday night’s robbery at Tourneau Jewelry in the King of Prussia Plaza. Police say two men ordered people to the floor, smashed a glass case, and took more than $500,000 worth of jewelry, including Rolex Watches.  One man had a gun.  Police believe they might be the same pair who robbed Zale’s Jewelry Monday night at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets Mall in Limerick.  In both cases one man distracted an employee by asking her to write down information about a piece of jewelry.  While she was doing that, the second man pulled out a handgun and both men pulled out trash bags to carry away their loot.  Police suspect they are part of a larger theft ring.
