Teens Get Jail Time For Sex Assault

prison_1Two Lansdale teenagers who admitted sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Hatfield girl they both knew are going to prison. 17-year-old Tyreece Lewis of West Hancock Street and 19-year-old Robert Lee of Stony Creek Court pleaded guilty to felony sexual assault without consent earlier this year in Montgomery County Court.  They were 16 and 17 at the time of the incident early last year, but they were charged as adults.  A judge has given them one to two years in state prison, followed by eight years on probation.  They must also report their addresses to state police for the rest of their lives as sexually violent predators under Megan’s Law.  Court documents say the boys molested the girl in the back seat of Lee’s vehicle while it was parked behind Lewis’s home.  The victim addressed the court at their sentencing, saying she was disrespected and betrayed by two boys she thought were her friends.
