An Upper Perkiomen Valley woman, who admitted stealing from her employer over a period of more than six years, has been given seven years on probation. 48-year-old Marsha Grover of East Greenville must also pay full restitution, and she has already paid a substantial amount. She pleaded guilty to felony forgery earlier this year in Montgomery County Court, admitting that she forged the owners’ signatures on more than $150,000 worth of checks from Gochnauer Electric and used the money to pay her own bills. The company is a small, family-owned business on Cherry Street in East Greenville where she had been office manager. Grover told the court she and her husband are selling everything they can to pay the restitution as quickly as possible.
