A Lansdale man has been convicted of a double murder. 20-year-old Khailyl Chambers now awaits sentencing for shooting a man and a woman outside a bar in Norristown more than two years ago. He could face life behind bars for the double murder conviction but this is not a capital case because Chambers waived his right to a jury trial in exchange for prosecutors taking the death penalty off the table. Outside the courtroom, relatives of the victims expressed satisfaction with the verdict. Chambers is currently serving a seperate ten year sentence for shooting another man.
