A prostitution raid at a South Philadelphia Mummers clubhouse netted a couple of suburban residents, including a Bucks County man accused of renting the building, organizing the parties and procuring the women. 65-year-old Lawrence Crovetti of Feasterville is charged with promoting prostitution. Ten women are charged with prostitution including 36-year-old Jennifer Quenderfield of Conshohocken. City police say the Downtowners Fancy Brigade Clubhouse was home once a month to a wild party, where men paid a $30 cover charge to eat, drink and see naked women. For an additional fee, ranging from $30 to $100, they could have sex with the prostitutes.
