A boy accused of causing a crash that killed a Bucks County man has reached a deal to plead guilty in juvenile court. He had initially been charged as an adult. Winston Charleston of the Tacony Section of Philadelphia turned 14 just three days before the June crash in the Northeast that killed 22-year-old Daniel Fouracre of Bensalem. Charleston had taken his mother’s car for a joyride without her knowledge, and was doing 85 miles per hour when he sped off of I-95 at Academy Road shortly after 2:00am. The boy, driving a Chrysler Sebring, ran a red light with his headlights off while trying to outrun a state trooper and plowed head-on into a Volkswagen Jetta driven by Fouracre’s 20-year-old girlfriend, Jessica Feldman of Huntingdon Valley. The car was a gift she received two years earlier when she graduated from Lower Moreland High School. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries along with the teen driver and three passengers, aged 15 and 16. Charleston will spend four years in a juvenile detention center.
