A Montgomery County judge has given a former Towamencin Township resident two life prison terms without parole for killing a man and a woman more than two years ago. A judge found 20-year-old Khailyl Chambers (pictured here) guilty of two counts of first degree murder. The victims, 31-year-old Brian Palmer of Norristown and 22-year-old Jackie Scott of Wyndmoor, were ambushed as they left the Roo House Tavern on Willow Street in Norristown around closing time in June of 2009. Court documents say Chambers shot Scott twice at close range, and then turned and shot Palmer in the cheek, neck, arms, leg and hip. Chambers was apparently angry because Palmer assaulted one of his friends.
