A 78-year-old Montgomery County man is accused of robbing a Bucks County bank. Barrie Golland of Elkins Park is charged with robbery and related offenses stemming from a stickup Thursday, December 22, at the Fulton Bank branch on Street Road in Warminster. Upper Moreland Township Police stopped his tan Buick near Byberry and Davisville Roads minutes after the robbery, took his personal information and let him go. A Warminster detective and an FBI agent visited his home on Tuesday, December 27, showed his wife a bank surveillance camera photo, and she spontaneously said it was her husband. He was arrested later when he returned home, and he was charged early Wednesday. Court documents say he got away, however briefly, with $234.
