Serial Burglary Suspect Arrested

A Franconia man is accused of committing numerous daytime burglaries over the last three months in Franconia, Hatfield and Horsham Townships. 31-year-old Ryan Weeks of Forrest Road in Franconia is charged with burglary and other offenses.

Hatfield Township Police say officers conducting surveillance followed him to a Philadelphia pawn shop on Tuesday, April 3, and saw him selling a large quantity of jewelry.  He was arrested later the same day while traveling through Hatfield Township.  A search of his home and vehicle turned up more suspected stolen jewelry, along with coins and small antiques.

Hatfield Township Police have several hundred pieces of jewelry and assorted coins with unknown ownership.  Victims of recent daytime burglaries in and near Hatfield Township should contact their local police to arrange for viewing the stolen property.
