A Lansdale man who threatened to kill a police officer has been given a chance to clear his record through the Montgomery County Behavioral Health Court.
23-year-old Nicholas Eustace pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on a police officer for pointing a gun at Hatfield Township officer Keith Blank last May on Logan Drive near Moyer Road in Hatfield Township, near the Lansdale border.
As Blank was about to fire in self-defense, he saw Eustace point the gun at his own head and pull the trigger. It clicked but did not fire and turned out to be a BB pistol resembling a Beretta semi-automatic.
Once he complies with all of the behavioral health court requirements, including treatment and probation, his record can be cleared.
