A woman is accused of stabbing her husband at the Franconia meat packing plant where he worked.
24-year-old Deborah Hummel of Pennsburg is charged with aggravated assault and other offenses in the attack on 24-year-old Nicholas Hummel of Bally.
Franconia Township Police say she entered JBS Packing on Allentown Road early Friday morning, September 28, became involved in a domestic argument with her husband and stabbed him in the back with a knife. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a wound that is not life-threatening, and she was arrested without incident in the parking lot.
