A Bucks County man who admitted trying to fill a phony prescription at a Hatfield Township pharmacy has been given nine months in Montgomery County Prison.
34-year-old Isaac Green of Quakertown was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to a felony charge of criminal attempt to commit forgery.
Police arrested him in July when he returned to the Rite Aid at North Broad Street and Cowpath Road to pick up the painkiller Percocet. Court documents say he claimed a Philadelphia physician prescribed it for a relative, but the pharmacist contacted the doctor and learned that the doctor had not written the prescription.
