Man Held For Trial In Fatal Crash
A Bucks County man is being held for trial in a crash that killed a fourth grader and critically injured her grandmother.
38-year-old Drew Bodden of Plumstead Township is charged with homicide and other offenses.
At a preliminary hearing Wednesday, crash reconstruction experts testified that he was going at a speed in excess of 140 miles per hour when his Ford Mustang Cobra struck a Honda CRV Sport-Utility Vehicle driven by 55-year-old Suzanne Berry, also of Plumstead Township, causing severe injuries including brain damage and killing nine-year-old Holly Huynh.
The crash happened last Thanksgiving Eve on the Route 611 Doylestown Bypass near the Broad Street Interchange. The Cobra hit the rear end of the Honda with enough impact to flip the Honda over several times.
