Quakertown Woman Clashes With Police After Traffic Stop

A QUAKERTOWN WOMAN IN HEADED TO COURT IN CONNECTION WITH ASSAULTING TWO MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP POLICE OFFICERS DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF MARCH 2ND. POLICE SAY, 37-YEAR-OLD, MIRAMANI NASH WAS PULED OVER AFTER ALLEGEDLY ALMOST HITTING A POLICE CAR. POLICE SAY ONE OF THE HEADLIGHTS ON HER CAR WAS OUT WHEN SHE TRIED TO MAKE AN ILLEGAL TURN ON ROUTE 309. OFFICERS PLACED THE WOMAN’S PASSENGER IN HANDCUFFS AFTER FINDING EVIDENCE OF DRUGS, BUT ACCORDING TO POLICE, NASH BECAME IRRATIONAL AND STARTING STRUGGLING AND KICKING THE OFFICERS TO THE POINT WHERE ONE OFFICER USED A STUN GUN TO END THE CONFRONTATION AND BRING NASH INTO CUSTODY. SHE FACES 11 CHARGES. NASH WAS RELEASED FROM CUSTODY ATER POSTING 25-THOUSAND DOLLARS BAIL. A COURT DATE FOR NASH IS PENDING.
