Authorities: Serial Bank Robber In Montco & Bucks

A man who has hit banks in Bucks and Montgomery counties, has drawn the attention of the F.B.I The armed bandit’s latest bank robbery happened on March 30th in Ambler at a PNC branch on Bethlehem pike. He’s also the likely suspect who stopped in at the Colonial American Bank in Horsham last June for an armed withdrawl. The F.B.I considers the suspect a serial bank robber, believing he has hit several banks across the region. Police say, video surveillance shows he’s armed with a semi-automatic handgun, sometimes making it visible in a holster, where tellers can see it. He usually wears suits with a white hood with eye slits. Police believe he’s a white male,5-10 to 6-2, possibly with blue eyes. He also used a hood during another armed bank robbery. Anyone with information is urged to call the F.B.I at 215-641-8910.
