This Weekend “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”

The Pa. Dept. of Transportation, and State Police will be out in force this weekend with an initiative to prevent crashes due drink drivers or motorists who use drugs and become impaired behind the wheel. PennDot’s Brad Rudolf says, the campaign, which started in mid-august is called
“Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”

“And it’s going to run through Monday Sept. 2nd through the Labor Holiday. PennDot distributes money to various municipalities and the State Police to keep the roads safe and bring more awareness to the dangers of impaired driving, whether it be alcohol or drug use behind the wheel.”

Rudolf adds, Police will also be looking for drivers who use drugs and drive. Last year in Pa., there were over 33-hundred drug related crashes. Rudolf was a guest on the AM-Edition with Darryl Berger
