Witness Provides Partial Tag in Attempted Child Luring

Hatfield Township Police have a little more information in connection with the attempted luring of a 9-year-old boy on Wheatfield Circle in Hatfield Borough, just after ten Monday morning. A witness has come forward with a partial tag of the maroon van the suspect was driving. It’s a Pennsylvania tag with the letters Y-H-E. The boy told police the suspect was in his mid-30 with a salt and pepper goatee, but did not know the race of the man. The maroon van has damage to the driver’s side front fender. Hatfield Township police are urging parents to talk with thier children concerning safety when strangers approach them. Anyone with further information is asked to call the Hatfield Township Police Detective division at 215-855-0903
