The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department hit the streets at 1am Tuesday morning. It’s target, deadbeat parents who have failed to pay child support.
“We had warrants for 37 people. We picked up 15 males and three females between 1am and 5am Tuesday. Since Tuesday morning we had six more people turn themselves in. Two of those were on the top ten wanted. We’ve got numerous tips on other people on that list and other people who are on the website.”
That’s Montgomery county sheriff, Eileen Behr, who says, the department hopes to collect 200,000 dollars from the people who were arrested. Behr was a guest Thursday morning on WNPV’S AM Edition.
